History: Axel Brodie is the number 1 student at West Academy. He plays with a deck of "Volcanic" cards. He used to spend all of his time training with his father. Axel came to Duel Academy along with other top students from the other academies. He was nothing but a pawn in Professor Viper's evil plan. Professor Viper was a teacher at West Academy, and came along with Axel. Viper told Axel to duel Jaden Yuki, and drag out as much energy as he could. Soon afterwards, everybody was transported to a weird dimension. There, Jaden went psycho, and Axel was the one who brought him back from the darkness, but at the cost of his own life. Axel now stays at Duel Academy, dueling and what not.
